- Associates Degree in Applied Science from Suffolk Community College
Karen obtained her Associates Degree in Applied Science from Suffolk County Community College as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 1995. She has 20 years of outpatient experience and has stayed current in the field by taking continuing education in orthopedics and functional manual therapy techniques. Outside of the office, Karen is a dedicated “Crossfitter” who has competed in the masters division for the Reebok Crossfit Games. She has a true passion for working with individuals dedicated to the Crossfit Craze. Yoga has recently been an addition to her workouts that has been a nice complement to her strength training. Karen’s greatest strength is her ability to apply her strong base in orthopedic rehabilitation with her vast knowledge and understanding of the body’s dynamic movement patterns in relation to functional strength training.
